My annual visit to my Empress in Triglav National Park. The Soča River showed off its very best again today in the somewhat wilder section of the upper Soča Valley. The plan was to ride to the foot of the Vršič Pass... but I changed that pretty quickly. It was soooo cold, but I wasn't ready for thermal underwear yet.

We actually just wanted to follow a fairly leisurely tour by Tommy. The same route there and back. But then Komoot completely changed the route halfway back and led us into the wildest terrain 😬😵‍💫. Difficulty level S - shoot me dead at the end...
