Between the Kiel-Wik naval base and the Kiel Canal there is an area with unique Kiel history and culture.
The starting point is the Gorch-Fock-Mole and the ships of the German Navy. This is followed by the Flanders bunker, which gives an impression of wartime in the region and turns excellent youth work into remembrance and peace work. After the bunker we walk through the former naval hospital in Anscharpark. Artists have now found a new home here.
