One of the best preserved sections of ancient Roman road in Anatolia with huge pavement blocks more or less resting in their original place.

Some parts are better preserved than others, but it is still a unique experience to walk on this almost 2000 year old marvel of Roman engineering. The road curves around the hillside and runs at a gentle gradient that enabled heavily
loaded pack animals (and perhaps even wheeled traffic?) to enter and leave the city.
