The Church of St. Peter and Paul was built between 1895 and 1901. Between 2000 and 2003, the interior of the church was lined with a painting, the work was carried out in fresco technique by the painter Mihai Minescu from Ortie. In the years 2015-2022, numerous rehabilitation and cosmetic works were carried out on the interior and exterior of the church.
His Eminence Irenaeus, Archbishop of Alba Iulia, was present on June 11, 2023 in the parish of Cápelna, Archpriest Sebes, and led the resurrection service of the parish church
