Vaellus
A place that is breathtaking in every respect and one that one struggles to achieve. The pass height measures over 4600 m and yet it is towered over by the foothills of the Humantay, Wamantay, but especially by the more than 6200 meters of the Salkantay.

Vuoristokiipeily
The Salcantay Pass is 4650 m above sea level. M. and is surrounded by the spectacular glaciers of Humantay (5917 m.a.s.l.) and Mount Salkantay, which at 6270 m is the highest peak in the region. The Slacantay is the second highest mountain in Peru and means "wild mountain".
