From Behmshöhe, across Broda beach, you can see the former administrative building of the same name, not far from Belvedere. It is one of the oldest buildings in Neubrandneburg. A monastery was built on the same site in the 12th century by the monks of the Premonstratensian Order. After secularization, it was converted into the Broda administrative seat with an estate. By the end of the 17th century, the medieval monastery buildings had almost completely fallen into disrepair. In the basement of the administrative building, there are still cross-ribbed vaulted rooms from the monastery era.

Vaellus
At the end of the 20th century, after various uses and being vacant on the verge of decay, it was restored into a residential and commercial building and since 2004 has served as a guest house for international scientists at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences, among others.
