First of all a few km along the Lac du Verney, before attacking the first part of the climb, a little austere, in the forest, up to the Rivier d'Allemont. Follow 3 (too) small rolling km, and four hairpins, which allow you to reach Eau d'Olle (bridge). Then come the most difficult percentages, 7 km of sustained climb to the Grand'Maison dam. Then the slope calms down, the landscape opens up frankly, and changes character, in the middle of the mountain pastures.

First, a few kilometers along Lac du Verney, before tackling the first, somewhat austere, section of the climb through the forest to Rivier d'Allemont. This is followed by 3 (too) short, rolling kilometers and four hairpin bends, which lead to the Eau d'Olle (bridge). Then come the most difficult gradients, 7 kilometers of sustained climbing to the Grand'Maison dam. Then the slope eases, the landscape opens up and changes character, amidst the high-altitude mountain pastures.
