The summit is certainly a bit more complicated to reach, since you can hardly see where the hiking trail leads. Access from the northeast is better. From the west you have to fight your way through thorn bushes. On the north-eastern path, this is just about within limits...

The Puntal de l'Abella (654 m) is the geographical roof of the massif that houses the Segart valley, an enormous Quaternary sandstone fault cut into large rocks, channels and stepped towers over the valley of the Segart ravine. At the summit of Puntal de l'Abella there is no sculpture or significant landmark, it is a cliff with good views of the protected area of Serra Calderona and the small mountain developments installed between the mountains.
