At this point, the oil history of Neubokel is recalled. Black gold was mined here until 1963. A model of a drilling rig with a notice board on the history of oil was erected at the old oil field on the "Kaiserholz" road.
The DEA still has oil production rights here and the property owners even get a kind of waiting interest even today!
Whether the funding will resume at some point cannot really be ruled out.
Out of town reaches the town of Wilsche via a good cycle / commercial route (here connection to the "Aller cycle path").
