From the saddle you have a wonderful view of the meandering river and its constantly changing by the water level floodplains. In addition, there are nine information boards, which indicate special features of the area. The Lippeverband also wants to build a table and benches in the northern area.

When the Lippe estuary was redesigned, it was made wider and flatter. This reduced the flow rate of the water and improved floodplain formation. This benefited biodiversity and flood protection.

The bike path is beautifully landscaped and has a paved surface. This way you get a new perspective on Wesel and the Rhine bridge. The cycle path starts below the bridge over the Rhine with the driveway to the dog place. You pass the rear of the newly built hall of the company Hegmann Schwerlasttransporte and the new tank silo.
