The Mallinckrodthof is part of two noble residences in the municipality Borchen. Today, the beautiful Fachwerkhof serves as a cultural and event venue. In addition to a restaurant with Westphalian / French cuisine there are Christmas markets at Christmas time and many other events over the rest of the year.

The Mallinckrodthof is today characterized by the baroque manor house, which is surrounded by a forest. According to tradition, the impressive half-timbered building was built on the foundations of an older castle complex from 1684-86. Within the springs, which are fed by springs, there is a smaller garden with the "Annetten-Tempelchen", which is said to contain the poet Annette von Droste-Hülshoff and a part of the "Judenbuche", a portrait of a Moravian Westphalian .
