The market is one of the most important markets in Guatemala. It takes place every Thursday and Sunday. Many locals come from near and far to sell and buy their produced and manufactured products. The market is very diverse, offering vegetables, spices, fruits, woven fabrics, carpets, wood and pottery, jewelry and everything else you need for life.
It is worth a visit, because here you can experience something cultural and culinary.

Every Thursday and Sunday, the market on and along the steps of the Santo Tomás Church in Chichicastenango, the largest in Central America, attracts many tourists, as well as Guatemalan merchants and buyers - native Quiché as well as Mam, Ixil, Cakchiquel and others ,
After visiting the market and the church you should still take a little refreshment at the hotel.
