A first building can be found here around the middle of the 2nd century. AD determine, still in a rather modest design. The main house was of the common type of portico villa with corner avant-corps. Until the third construction phase in the first third of the 3rd century. the plant underwent various expansions. It was thus 147x127 m in size. Some of the rooms were decorated with wall paintings and heated. This included the usual bath.

Site of a 2nd century Roman estate. The floor plan of the main building and bathhouse was made visible on the ground with stone slabs. There is also a Roman crop, a herb garden and some information boards on agriculture in Roman times.

Here are the ruins of an important Roman estate, a so-called villa rustica. The first building here dates back to the mid-2nd century AD. Visitors can view the building's floor plans, marked in the ground, as well as display gardens where plants are cultivated that were already known and used by the Romans. Information panels explain the history. Very nicely done. For me, it gets 👍🏼.
