Nice little park with a great playground between old trees.
The Spree is also only a few minutes away on foot / by bike, and the Wilhelm Spindler Bridge over the River Spree is just around the corner.

Ernst-Grube-Park (formerly Spindlerscher Volkspark), a municipal green space in the Köpenick district of Berlin, is named after the German politician and resistance fighter against the Nazi regime, Ernst Grube.

The larger meadow area was formerly the Ernst-Grube-Stadion, to my knowledge the home ground of BSG Rotation Berlin. There was a clubhouse where the Alexander von Humboldt Extended Secondary School (EOS) occasionally held discos and dances (I myself attended as a student there). Since 2008, the area has been a training ground for HSV (Hundesportverein Plänterwald – Plänterwald Dog Sports Club), which is located on Am Ernst-Grube-Park street.
