It can be reached by car and on foot, although this excursion is recommended for people who are fit. It is more than 800 meters of ascent from Frontera, without many opportunities to catch your breath. However, it is a very beautiful route.
You can also walk to the town of San Andrés.

It is one of the viewpoints with the most impressive panoramic views of the island.
Near the viewpoint there is a small hermitage of the Virgen de Caridad.
The Jinama path that goes to the next town of La Frontera, and is one of the oldest paths on the island, begins at the viewpoint, but it is not suitable for road bikes.
