The small Rhine island is now a beautiful park with a view of the Rhine and the old town. It was once the home of the Counts of Rheinfelden.
In the middle of the park there is a pretty fountain from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the old town and the Rhine. If you stop by in the afternoon, with a bit of luck you can see the arrival of the scheduled boat from Basel.
