Nice big lighthouse, which impresses with its black color and beautiful architecture. Via 84 steps on an attached, large banister, you can reach the upper part free of charge and enjoy a magnificent view even when the tower is closed!

The main attraction and the landmark Dorums - the Obereversand - is located directly on Dorumer Tief.
The inside of the 37.4 meter high lighthouse can be reached via an 84-step external staircase.
From here begins a journey through the life and work of lighthouse keepers at the end of the 19th century.
The upper gallery offers a unique view over the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea to the island of Neuwerk at the mouth of the Elbe.
