Here the Adriatic Cycle Route runs directly by the sea over a bridge and through a tunnel. The colors are just gorgeous! In general, I recommend bringing enough sun protection with you when you are on this bike path.

We boarded the bikes on the train (with the baby in tow, we saved time and the dangers of the state road between the forum of francavilla and ortona), we got off at the station in ortona and from there only the cycle path up to fossacesia! Very comfortable and beautiful !! Pedaling while looking at the sea is spectacular! Open galleries and many inns / overflows with services for bikes. ;)
