    Maastopyöräily

There are many hiking trails and forest roads on the Ruhmannsberg. The mountain is densely overgrown by forest and meadows.

Most of the climbs are very steep and can only be ridden in top condition or with an e-bike. The fun factor is right downhill if the bike is a fully and the riding technique is right.

Summit of the Ruhmannsberg > a geotope

The summit of the Ruhmannsberg is formed by a small rock cliff made of amphibolite. Two different varieties are exposed: a fine-grained and a coarse-grained amphibolite, which are interwoven with each other. In some cases, the rocks also have a single-layer appearance with light and dark bands. Basic volcanic rocks are possible parent rocks for the amphibolites. A rib of fine-grained granite is exposed just a little north of the summit. Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU).

    Maastopyöräily

If you have "climbed" the Ruhmannsberg, you have reached 862 meters above sea level. There is no all-round view because the trees are higher than the summit. So it would be possible to climb a few more meters if you climb a tree.
