The Mário Xavier National Forest (Flona) is a federal conservation unit located in the municipality of Seropédica, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Created in 1986, the forest covers an area of approximately 496 hectares of Atlantic Forest and its objectives are the preservation of biodiversity, scientific research, and the promotion of environmental education.

Address: Access via BR-465 Highway, Km 05, Seropédica - RJ, 23890-000.
Opening Hours: Generally open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed on Saturdays and Sundays. It is recommended to check the opening hours information on the official ICMBio website before visiting, as there may be changes.
Activities: Visitation is permitted and the site offers hiking trails, cycling (with bike paths), picnic areas and a children's playground.
Accessibility: Has an accessible entrance for wheelchairs.
