It wasn't until 1922 that Berlin received its first high-rise - far from the city center on the company premises of the Tegeler Borsigwerke. It is there today as one of the last relics of a past industrial era. The base of the 65 meter high tower is 20 by 16 meters. The tower quickly became the symbol of the Borsigwerke.
