The A estate was the first part of the planned New Town of Tychy.
This is one of the few complete architectural assumptions of socialist realism in Poland (next to Nowa Huta) that has survived to the present day.
Although this may surprise many people, the architects followed their example when designing the pattern of Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome, designed by Michelangelo.
The estate is still waiting for its time when all buildings will be renovated.
