Neo-Gothic church from 1700, today's shape and style in 1887, rebuilt after its second destruction in 1949-1955, first church at this point in 1446. Quite impressive for such a small community, but we are also here in the Catholic heartland.

Today's church was built in 1886/1887 and consecrated on September 27, 1887 by auxiliary bishop Franz Wilhelm Cramer from Münster. It was badly hit during the bombing raids in February 1945 and was rebuilt.[8] Its side aisles display large-format works of art depicting the twelve Stations of the Cross of Jesus Christ. The large Seifert organ from 1961 has 26 sounding registers, arranged in a pedal organ with (among other things) a principal bass 16', a main organ with (among other things) a trumpet 8' (horizontal) and a positive.
