    Zbraslav Castle was originally a Cistercian monastery, which was founded in 1292 by the Bohemian King Wenceslaus II on the area of a hunting farm at the mouth of the Miesa and the Vltava. It was acquired by Prince of Oettingen-Oettingen and Oettingen-Wallerstein in 1825 and is now privately owned.
