Absolutely great! Pram rating : 4/5! It's easier with big wheels! We had a buggy and it was doable! Plan more than enough time! There is a lot to see and experience. Make a flint eater yourself, shoot a bow... The museum offers a QR code. The link you get offers audio data that gives interesting information about each part of the exhibition in the form of an audio guide.

Visiting the Stone Age Park takes you back 5,000 years. And not without reason, because in the area you will find many burial mounds from the Stone and Bronze Ages. The area has been inhabited for a long time, and you can learn how people lived back then in the hands-on activities during the summertime. The Dithmarschen Stone Age Park is an archaeological open-air museum with a history reconstructed in original size. Here you can experience the way of life of the hunters and gatherers in their village. How did the people of Northern Germany live in the Neolithic Age? What did their houses and everyday life look like? Archaeologists deal with these questions from a scientific perspective. Everyone can experience the answers in the Stone Age Park at Süderstraße 47 and at the Museum of Archeology and Ecology at Bahnhofstraße 29!
