The Gothic castle with a dominant seven-sided tower, hidden in the woods, dates back to the first half of the 14th century. It later grew to include a fort, which was destroyed by the Hussites. The castle itself defended itself against the invaders. During the Renaissance, in the second half of the 16th century, it was transformed into a hunting lodge and the surrounding forest in the field. The castle lost its residential function at the beginning of the 19th century, the nature reserve was abolished a hundred years later. Reconstruction in the second half of the 20th century restored the dilapidated mansion to its former Gothic-Renaissance form. Currently, you can choose from two tour routes to visit the castle. They will guide you through the Gothic and Renaissance palaces, their interiors and introduce you to the overall history of the building. The second route leads through a small walkway with an exhibition of Czech ghosts, a castle chapel or an exhibition and botanical hall. The castle tower with valuable Renaissance wall paintings and period furniture is also accessible to the public. In good weather, you can enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside. Mapy.cz

Lisovská skála is an 802 meter high peak in the Žďárské vrchy mountain range. It is located three kilometers southwest of the settlement of Křižánky in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou and one kilometer southeast of Devíti skal. The peak is made of gneiss rock, which is a natural monument. The peak is wooded, without a view. Rather than a separate peak, it is the western sub-peak of Křovina (830 m above sea level), 1.2 km away.

Nine Rocks (836 m a.s.l.) is the highest point of the Žďárské vrchy, the second highest point in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. In 1976 it was declared a natural monument. The rock formation is located about 3.5 km southeast of the village of Herálec. The name Nine Rocks is derived from the nine rock formations scattered within a radius of 1 kilometer, which form a rock city-type grouping. The entire formation was formed by processes of frost weathering in the older Quaternary. At that time, a group of three separate rock ridges was dissected, along fissures divided into a series of blocks with nine larger and three smaller peaks. The rock walls reach a height of up to 15 m.

Beautiful views, peace and admirable natural formations. All this is hidden in the Malinská skála, which starts in the Nine Rocks and stretches further east. From the top you can see Blatiny, Křižánky, Samotín, Buchtův kopec, Drátőkny or Čtyři palice. It is a group of gneiss rocks in the Žďárské vrchy, which reach a height of up to 20 m, arranged in a circle around the top, in which interesting niches and fissure caves have been formed by weathering. Among the most important rock formations are Výspa, Srnčí věž, Škuner and Buldok. If you follow the red hiking trail, you will be greeted by beautiful nature that is characterized by a number of protected animals (common buzzard, great raven, great horned owl, speckled nuthatch) and plants (curvy broom, sour sorrel, spiny fern) including a distinctive group of boulders . And when you reach your destination, you can enjoy the view of the highest peak of the Žďárské vrchy – Nine Rocks. This natural monument is a frequent destination for tourists, cyclists and climbers (for this sport only from July to December). In winter, you can meet enthusiastic cross-country skiers here.
