On the edge of the Woudsepolder lies the modest Woudse Bos, which mainly resembles a park forest. The park is named after the village of the same name, 't Woudt, which is located in the middle of the Woudsepolder.

Windlust is a tower mill in Wateringen, municipality of Westland. The flour mill on the Heulweg was founded in 1869, replacing an earlier wip flour mill on the same site, where a mill has existed since 1326. The story goes that the miller's neighbor, a notary, built a high house right next to the mill. The miller then built a new mill "so high that he could urinate from the scaffolding into the notary's chimney". On November 14, 1880, the hull was destroyed by fire and repaired. In the 1930s the wind drive was switched off and the mill fell into disrepair. A diesel engine took over the work of the mill. The position was demolished in 1947 and the blades were removed in 1952. Windlust stood without scaffolding and blades for almost twenty years; In 1969 the hull was purchased by the 'Stichting Vrienden van de Wateringse Molen'. On May 1, 1972, the completely restored mill was put back into use, with a single pair of stones. The scaffolding was replaced in 2008.
