Take plenty of water. I only had one liter, and that was far too little. The climbing sections towards the end of the tour were quite challenging for me at 60 years old, but manageable. At least closed-toe athletic shoes are a must. Overall, a wonderful experience.

In my opinion, the most beautiful spot along the possible network of paths to the seven waterfalls. It is not very busy, as the large pool of water is not directly on the side of the path. There is a national park feel here. While you stroll through the greenery, you can watch monkeys looking for food and relax.

The path increases from a comfortable path through the jungle to a few climbs until shortly before the final climb. Here you can continue to climb to the summit with the help of ropes. Due to erosion, this has become a little smoother to handle after years. Gloves and sturdy shoes make things a lot easier. Tip: The descent from the summit to the Black River is highly recommended. However, you should be sure-footed, have stamina and a little experience. Note: The park closes at 6 p.m.!

Beautiful, but be careful, the times given for the entire waterfall circuit shown are not correct (without a guide, only with Komoot)! We - really not unathletic - needed 6 hours instead of the stated 1:59, a couple running in the opposite direction, whom we met twice, even needed 8! Because of the underestimated time, we didn't have enough to drink with us, so it's better to take too much with you! Be prepared for some climbing on rocky stream slopes, because the main category "hiking trail" does not apply, shortly after the upper falls it becomes largely impassable, confusing and mediocrely marked terrain.
