If you want to cross the Aare without getting your feet wet, if you want to watch the thousands of rubber boats in summer, if you would like to dive into the cold water of the Aare yourself... is in the right place at the Uttigen bridge with its Uttigen sill. If you happen to be in the area, a short detour to the Uttiger threshold is worthwhile. In summer there is a lot of activity here, as many "rubber boats" leave the water in front of the threshold and get back in after the threshold. The place is not entirely safe for the inexperienced. Many a boat trip has come to an untimely end here. 2 footbridges lead over the bridge, which enable a "dry" crossing of the Aare. The wide view along the Aare is a feast for the eyes in spring and summer.
