A very quiet beach with lots of wildlife. You can snorkel with iguanas and sea turtles and watch them eating and sunbathing. We were advised to arrive around midday, as that's when the animals are most active on the shore and beach.

Here, an extremely creative person has apparently left a large number of wonderfully colored, lovingly designed ceramic mosaics on the walls of a tube-like plot of land between the street and the sea. The small open-air gallery is freely accessible through a massive portal; locked doors on the right and left separate the area from private properties; at the end the gallery opens to the sea. Definitely worth a visit!

From here you can see the sea lions hunting in the bay, and we were also able to observe frigate birds and blue/pink-footed boobies

One is quickly inclined to walk past this church on the harbor. But that's a mistake, because the stained glass window with animal and nature motifs is definitely worth seeing.

Street food is celebrated on this stretch of street. Many small stalls and kitchens offer delicious food at reasonable prices.

Freshly caught fish is sold here in the morning on weekdays. The sushi in the evening is certainly tasty. Sea lions and pelicans are also waiting for a tasty bite.

Small sandy beach framed by lava stones on which the waves break. You can often meet surfers here and watch them wild rides.

Here you can snorkel great. There is a wooden platform that is easy to get into the water from if it is not besieged by sea lions 🦭.
