Before entering the Palau Pacific Resort hotel, you can turn right onto a nature trail. Although parts of it are paved, the natural section with its viewpoint overlooking the bay in front of the hotel is all the more beautiful. There are several information panels about the plants, and we also saw many toads along the path.

Entrance fee is currently $10 per person, payable at the parking lot. The path to the waterfall has many steps and can be muddy. In the lower section, as an alternative to the root-covered path when the water level is low, you can walk along the side of the river on the rocks.

From Palau's highest mountain (242m), one has a panoramic view of the entire island of Babeldaob. Depending on the weather, different conditions (sun, clouds, and rain) can be observed in the various regions.

A well-maintained path – partly paved – with an impressive variety of plants and sounds. Some plants have labels. The path passes Malakal Lake and Ngermalk Cave.
