This rocky, rooty, very overgrown, and at times steep trail with climbing sections is worth a visit. The entrance is somewhat hidden from the country road. "Valekullen and Ofredsboa" are located in the middle of the forest and can be reached via this trail. Ofredsboa is a cave under a rocky outcrop. Women and children fled here during the war between Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. From the cave, the trail leads up a wooden staircase and a steep climb to Valekullen Mountain. Signal fires were once lit here due to its highly visible location (four lakes and half of Blomskog).

Highest peak near Arvika. You don't have a completely free view in all four directions. The name of the mountain comes from the dialect word "göpa" for lynx. The mountain is also sometimes referred to as Göpommen.

From the gondola station you have a wonderful view over the country

Granberget is the highest peak in the province of Värmland. Their is a watchtower on top with spectacular views 360 degrees around. There are two options to get to the top: 1. Hiking the Nordvärmlandsleden. From Höljes it is about 12 kilometer to the top. 2. Driving with a car to a hiking trail close to the top. The drive is on a dirt road so winter conditions depend on the snow. 4wd and snow tires are recommended in winter. A normal car is good for summer.
