It really is like the Caribbean. Access is via a 200m deep, steep staircase. The beach has a heart-shaped rock formation like the "James Bond Rock" in Thailand. Behind the beach flows a wide, ice-cold, green mountain stream, which you can use to get into the gorge behind it. This is also possible via a "palm forest" path. At the end there are clear swimming pools and a small waterfall. There is a small tavern and plenty of shady areas under palm trees. Definitely worth a visit, even when there are lots of visitors in summer.

A real experience, it's like not being in Europe. The forest must be preserved and respected, so be careful because it is easy for a few cigarette butts in the summer to cause a catastrophe.

The river can be walked far into it with bathing suits, the water depth is max. 1.50m at the deepest point (rather far in front). The ground is a bit rocky, so if you have problems with that, you should wear bathing shoes if possible.

A hike around the palm gorge is worthwhile. Breathtaking views await you. Unfortunately, the beach is no longer an insider tip, but you can still relax there after the hike.
