Velika Prepadna is a cave located on the beautiful Ajdovo Plateau. It opens on the northern slope of Srobotnik, on the border with the municipality of Žužemberk and the municipality of Straža. The entrance is marked by a wide sinkhole measuring 24 meters in depth, and then the rocky sinkhole continues with a narrow passage into the spacious Entrance Hall. In addition to the Entrance Hall, there are also Middle and Last Halls in the cave. Right in the Last is a mighty stalactite column. The cave is a habitat for underground animals, especially beetles, and a refuge for bats. It is 92 meters deep and 261 meters long. The cave is a popular excursion spot, as evidenced by the beautifully landscaped surroundings. Entry into the cave is at your own risk, but it is recommended to be accompanied by experienced cavers.

Trška gora is one of the most famous vineyards in Slovenia. On its southern slope, the most vineyards in the world are planted in terms of area. It stretches between two castles, in the east is the Old Castle, in the west Hmeljnik, and at its top the pilgrimage church of the Assumption of Mary takes care of its recognizability. At 428 meters above sea level, Trška gora offers a heavenly view on all sides, up to Gorjanci, towards Kočevski Rog and Krška dolina, all the way to Sljeme above Zagreb. Below it lies the Dolenjska capital Novo mesto, embraced in the emerald beauty of the river Krka, which also envelops the only river castle in Slovenia, Otočec Castle. Lipe On the top of Trška gora, next to the Church of the Nativity of Mary, linden trees have been growing for centuries - the oldest and most powerful has a chest circumference of 830 centimeters. It is estimated to be more than four hundred years old and is considered to be the thickest Dolenjska linden tree. Creative spirit As a special feature of this vineyard, we can certainly point out the poetic spirit that filled the owners of the vineyard cottages there. This is how Marjan Kozina, the virtuoso of frajtonarica Lojze Slak and the famous accordionist Henček gained their enthusiasm in Trška gora in vineyard cottages. A special experience is wandering among the wine-growing slopes of Trška gora, where the traditional Dolenjska wine cviček is produced. While discovering this unique landscape, you are sure to come across larger and smaller vineyard cottages with inviting wine cellars, and you can also visit the pilgrimage church of the Nativity of Mary.

The Novo mesto branch of the SPD built a shelter with 20 beds in 1930 near the Gospodična spring, on the north-western slope of Gorjanci; in 1942 it was burned. PD Novo mesto built a mountain hut on this site and ceremoniously opened it on 18 September 1949. As it no longer met the needs of visitors, a new home was built in 1973 and 1974 with the help of the Novoteks textile factory and opened on 21 June 1975. Named they named it after the national hero Vinko Paderšič-Batreja (1916-1942), the organizer of OF in the places below Gorjanci. The name "Miss after the spring, which originates under the home; Trdin's fairy tale tells of a castle lady who rejuvenated herself when she washed in it. In 1984, the home was leased by Tovarna zdravil Krka from Novo mesto. she redecorated and modernized the home, and also re-equipped it in 1990. The lease agreement expired in 1994, and the home is now managed by PD Novo mesto. View: From the home there is a beautiful view from west to north. To the west we see Kočevski Rog; from west to north, the Dolenjska hills stretch between the Krka and the Sava, followed by the Posavje hills with Kum, and on the horizon we can see the Karavanke and Kamnik Alps; between Gorjanci and the Dolenjska hills there is an extensive Krško field; we can see Novo mesto and Trška gora nicely; exactly to the north is near Tolsti vrh (356 m) with a church at the top. There is no view to the east and south, because it is covered by the backs of the Gorjanci. More interesting tours: At the crossroads in front of Miklavž (964 m) is Krvavi kamen (928 m), where, according to Trdin's fairy tale, fraternal blood was spilled.
