Mostly good and smooth asphalt with little traffic (unless there are lots of tourist SUVs and buses driving through). Beautiful route with some climbs and descents, all of which are also doable for beginners with mostly 8-10%, sometimes up to 13%. The actual climb goes north. You can also find more information about the tourist highlight in the north under the name Grand Cascade de Tamghaza (although "Grand" is very relative), the great gorge is interesting, less so the waterfall (cascade)

Sturdy shoes are recommended and you should be fairly sure-footed. The gorge can be visited from the source as well as from the valley.

Easy hike to the end of the gorge. Then it goes back to the restaurant a little above.

The canyon is located a hundred meters west of the little touristic area. Guides will want to accompany you. I recommend going by yourself, it's easy to find. Take the time to walk around and explore the beautiful landscape.

Fantastic winding road with very steep but also flat sections. Beautiful views into the canyons with interesting rock formations and palm trees along the road. Definitely recommended as a descent!
