Rocky passage between Refuge de Bonavau and Cabane de Susanfe. Above the green basin, through which La Saufla and other streams/rivers flow, the interesting rock path leads along the rocky foothills of the Dent de Bonavau - against the backdrop of the mountain peaks of the Dents Blanches on the border with France. Along a rocky gorge, through which the river La Saufla flows between the rocky eastern foothills of the Dent de Bonavau and the rock massifs that lie in front of the Dents-du-Midi to the west, the rocky path finally leads on the other side of the river La Saufla - above its reservoir - into a wide valley basin with green rocky outcrops.

Interesting views of the mighty valley through which the river La Saufla flows, between the Dents-du-Midi in the east and the Dents Blanches in the west with the Dents de Bonavau in front. As part of the Tour Dents-du-Midi, the path from Champery up to the Cabane de Susanfe leads through the upper parts of the incision.

A beautiful start along the water

This 151 meter long suspension bridge is located near Torgon. It leads you over the roaring Avançon torrent, which has made its way through the rocky landscape and created an impressive gorge.

A refreshing hike leads through the impressive and shady Vièze Gorge. Seven educational boards along the rushing river give you an insight into the geological, biological and historical heritage. Further up, you cross the 90 meter long and 60 meter high suspension bridge over the Vièze and reach the village of Choëx. There you have a fantastic view of the valley, Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains.
