The La Tranquera Reservoir in Nuévalos is a spectacular place to enjoy nature and panoramic views. Inaugurated in 1959, the reservoir was designed to regulate the flow of the Piedra River and ensure the water supply in the region.

Top location in the Parc Monasterio de Piedra, where you can happily take good photos. It's worth it.

Nice views of Nuévalos and the Tranquera reservoir in the background, from the road reaching the town. If we are lucky enough to see the reservoir with its well-charged water reserves, we will see its spectacular emerald blue color. We will find fishermen, people bathing and a lot of fauna.

Located at an altitude of 817 meters, we find beautiful views of the Tranquera reservoir from Cerro de Somé. The path to here is not marked, but it is clearly visible. Not long ago, this area was burned but it is already growing and returning to normal.

Beautiful views of the Tranquera reservoir, from the town of Nuévalos, with the imposing Torre del Castillo behind us. If we are lucky enough to go with the reservoir's reserves fully loaded with water, we will see its spectacular emerald blue color. We will find fishermen, people bathing and a lot of fauna.

Lake in the Monasterio de Piedra Natural Park, surrounded by cuts of limestone rock that give us a beautiful picture when reflected in the water. From the two floating bridges that the tour will pass we can take some really nice photos. As a curiosity, close to this lake, there is also the first fish farm that was created in Spain in 1867
