Ο καταρράκτης του Χάσελτ είναι εμπνευσμένος από τον κήπο του 14ου αιώνα του ναού Tenryūji στο Κιότο. Χαρακτηριστικό είναι το παιχνίδι οριζόντιων και κάθετων γραμμών στα χρησιμοποιούμενα βράχια. ενισχυμένο από τις βραχώδεις διαμορφώσεις στο νερό, που χρησιμεύουν ως προσκήνιο. Αξιοσημείωτη είναι η μεγάλη πέτρα περίπου 14 τόνων μπροστά δεξιά του καταρράκτη. Η πέτρα κάτω από το πέπλο του νερού συμβολίζει τον ιαπωνικό κυπρίνο ή Koi που πηδά πάνω στον καταρράκτη. Μετά από εκατό χρόνια, ο Koi φτάνει επιτέλους στην κορυφή, όπου ως ανταμοιβή από τους θεούς μεταμορφώνεται σε δράκο.

The only useful and interesting thing I read here is that a vanished watermill once stood here... nevertheless it is a beautiful spot.
