The Aguarales de Valdemilaz, also known as Aguarales de Valpalmas, are a stunning geological landscape located near the town of Valpalmas, in the Cinco Villas region, province of Zaragoza. This site is famous for its unique rock formations, created by water and wind erosion over millions of years. These formations, known as fairy chimneys, are similar to those seen in the Göreme Valley in Cappadocia, Türkiye.

One of the most beautiful valleys I have ever seen. The impressive rock walls not only provide a home for vultures but also frame the sometimes idyllic, sometimes wild Rio Mesa, on whose banks you can also have a nice picnic. If you are in the area, I can only warmly recommend a visit!

The Valdeherrera ravine connects the town of Talamantes with the Estacas hill, a point where the GR 90 forks into two variants. The ravine, although it consists of steep slopes, offers fantastic views of the surrounding rocks.

An old drainage channel for the floods of the Barranco Lecheros de Alfocea. It can be flooded occasionally but most of the time it is dry or at most wet from the rains. A nice walk at the foot of the escarpments. There are narrow areas so go easy, remember that we are not alone walking through the field and we can meet other people.
