This bridge over the Langglupbekken provides superb views of Rondslottet rising beyond an attractive cascade. There are good wild camping spots near here, as well as tempting places for a swim.

The old Brufossen power station is now a listed monument. From the bridge, you can clearly see the waterfalls. There's an information board behind the bridge.

The delightful Björbecken is a real highlight of the run up Elgåhogna. This is surely one of the most gorgeous summit runs in the Femunden National Park.

The detour signposted from the main trail leads down a very steep path to the hidden waterfall, which unfortunately cannot be seen very well due to the vegetation. The very strenuous extra route is therefore only partially worthwhile.

A great waterfall in the middle of the forest. There is a shelter and a possibility to make a fire.

Beautiful trail with occasional technical sections. Can be difficult when slippery. Please note that the road from Midtskogen is a private toll road - 75 NOK to be paid.

On Sunday from 11 am to 11 pm you can have a drink in the open air theatre. But the waterfall nearby is more than worth the effort and is open every day. 😉

About 4-5km before Björnholia Just above the bridge between the birch trees, there are several good spots to camp overnight.
