On the other side, the way back over the wide slopes of the Vorderberg is rewarded with beautiful views of the Obersee and the surrounding villages. Anyone who indulges in this roller coaster ride of emotions can let the exciting ascent sink in wonderfully on the way back. Due to its proximity and shortness, the round is easy to do even on a full day, and if you have your Cervelat with you, you will certainly find a place in the cool Bachtobel where you can linger longer and let your sausage burn properly. Tip There are no supply options directly on the route. At the Landlütenhof on the Vorderberg, a little below the suggested route, a Besenbeiz invites you to linger. The starting point and destination of Lachen offers a wide range of shopping and dining options. The pretty harbor promenade can be reached on foot from the train station in a few minutes, a nice place to round off the tour with a meal.
