Conguillio National Park, a very nice park with two entrances, one from the north, practically south of Freire, and the other from below, but there is no totem to buy tickets. We entered twice because there was a lot to see, but I recommend the Sierra Nevada trail, where you can see Conguillio Lake and walk through a forest of coihues and araucaria trees until you reach the end of the trail, where there is snow.

A tip: Pack a small snack, sit by the shore and observe nature – sometimes an eagle flies over the mountains or you see small animals near the lake. Especially in the early morning or late afternoon, there is a wonderful, almost mystical atmosphere here.
