Good hike, helmet is recommended. There is a few meters of ferrate but nothing major. Steady and sure foot is required.

pretty snowy this year's end of May. Crampons are useful (there was a steeper section before the last push for the summit), although the snow path could have been avoided

Planina Rzenik is located north of Velika planina, more precisely on the slopes of Konj and Rzenik. From the mountain on which the shepherd's hut stands, we have a beautiful view of the Veliko planina, Rzenik and Konja, and if we climb to the western edge of the mountain, we can also see the highest peaks of the Kamniška Savinja Alps.

Beautiful. Small hiking trail, not for people with fear of heights. 1x a climbing piece with cables. We did it with 2 dogs and with some poop pushing this worked :)

I am fully in agreement with Stane, the loop to reach this summit is amazing, offering endless wonderful views and offering a bit of a challenge as it is steep and quite technical. Only do it well equipped with proper shoes and preferably hiking poles. I wouId recommend doing it clock-wise. I loved it and if you are lucky, you will find a table at the trailhead to buy milk, butter, stuka, cheese from the farm close by (I bought some as I met the cows during the trail and they seems enjoying the grass of those mountains)
