As with the rock steps, there's no information about which building this old chimney once belonged to. Nevertheless, it's very interesting how it's the only thing that has survived the house and still stands like a rock in the forest today.

Unfortunately, the origin of these rock steps isn't explained. However, it's nice to see they're still so well preserved after all these years.

Located in the middle of the forest is a round picnic table surrounded by beautiful hornbeams.

At that time there was a cafe here which was run by Hermine Peters.

This small bench stands in the forest between the former locations of the Dansbana in the north and the cafe in the south.

Målaskog's Dansbana (dance floor) once stood here. It's a real shame it no longer exists. In the middle of a hornbeam forest, ideally under the open sky. Magical!

Directly across the street from the parking lot, you'll find this memorial plaque by Ingvar Chrostoffersson, placed on a large rock. The biologist, botanist, and naturalist, who lived between 1924 and 2003, came from the Ljunby region and campaigned throughout his life for Målaskogsberg to become a nature reserve.

The parking lot accommodates about half a dozen vehicles. In addition to the obligatory information board about the reserve, including a hiking map, there are two relatively new benches and an accessible toilet block at the parking lot.
