Since February 28, 2009, three pairs of passenger trains have once again run between Dresden and Wrocław over the viaduct. However, electric train service has not resumed since the viaduct's reconstruction, as the Soviet Union dismantled the overhead wire west and east of the Neisse after the war in the autumn of 1945. In 2011, it was announced in the local press that the Polish Railway, which owns the viaduct, planned to renovate the railway bridge by 2013 and simultaneously prepare for electrification. Construction work was completed at the end of 2013. Renovation and maintenance work was carried out on the tracks and substructure. The permitted speed was increased from 30 to 80 kilometers per hour. Heavy freight trains can now also cross the viaduct. The PKP had the parapet removed and replaced with a new one. The history of meteorological observations here on Śnieżka begins in 1824, but the first observatory was here since 1900. This one is named after Tadeusz Hołdys, who directed it for many years. Beautiful views!

The Snow Pits (Polish: Śnieżne Kotły) in the Giant Mountains are an impressive natural wonder that delights both hikers and nature lovers. They consist of two glacial cirques, the Great Snow Pit (Wielki Kocioł Śnieżny) and the Small Snow Pit (Mały Kocioł Śnieżny), located at an altitude of approximately 1,200 to 1,300 meters. These steep and deep rock faces were formed by glaciers and provide a breathtaking backdrop. The walls of the Snow Pits drop almost vertically to a height of up to 100 meters, making them one of the most spectacular places in the Giant Mountains. Rare flora and fauna: Due to the special microclimate, plant species normally found only in arctic regions thrive here. On the ridge above the Snow Pits stands the historic Snow Pit Hut (Polish: Schronisko na Śnieżnych Kotłach), a building that formerly served as a meteorological station.

Against the impressive mountain backdrop of the Giant Mountains, an architectural jewel stands out here that is no less impressive: an original Norwegian stave church has stood here for more than 180 years, although its origins are much older. The local community put the building up for sale to build a new one, but it was acquired under Prussian rule and found a second "life" here.

The church itself is very beautiful. Interesting history and architecture. Directly behind the church is the entrance to the Giant Mountains National Park with the ascent to Snezka. However, the interior of the church is not recommended with small children, very tiring due to the large number of people.
