This beautiful neo-baroque building has been renovated several times before becoming, for the centenary of its foundation, a comfortable 460-seat performance hall, with a soul that delights artists and spectators. From 2020, the foyer on the first floor will be redeveloped into a second performance hall intended for small forms, and able to accommodate around sixty spectators. 150 meters from the station, overlooking a large pedestrian square and housing a friendly pizzeria with terrace on the ground floor, La Grange da Antonio, the TBB is a popular meeting place for spectators in the region. The old-fashioned but charming town of Orbe is located on a hill in a meander of the Orbe. From the Place du Marché, decorated by a fountain with a standard bearer (1753), a small street leads to the reformed church from the 15th-16th century (naves with interesting keystones) and further to the terrace of the former castle, which offers a beautiful view of the lower city and the Orbe valley.

The old town, which consists of a lower and an upper part, is really kitschy and beautiful. Small shops, many restaurants, colorful facades and the castle characterize Orbe.

Impressive and mighty, the Château Yverdon sits enthroned in the middle of the city. Four towers, one of which is currently being renovated in 2023, testify to the fortifications of the building. The interior of the castle can only be visited with a paid visit to the castle's internal museum. It is impressive that the castle is very centrally located and you can pass the time in numerous cafes, restaurants and various shops.

The "Benno Besson" theater was built in 1898 on the model of the Monte Carlo casino. It is located between the train station and the old town and has a direct view of the Japanese Garden. When everything blooms in summer, the white house shines in unique splendor. It is the largest theater in Yverdon.
