Entrance to the Aposelemi Gorge. You can leave your car under the highway bridge or park just before the gate. The path then begins clearly at the dried-up riverbed.

Beautiful gorge. You can easily get close to the gorge by bus on the main road. Then walk for about 20 minutes to the end of the riverbed, which is the beginning of the gorge. Then you have to scramble over stones in the riverbed. It goes slowly. It is best to do it with light outdoor shoes.

It goes through the dry riverbed over rocks. Non-slip boots are recommended. You only make slow progress and should plan enough time (1.5-2km/h). I didn't see any eagles, can anyone confirm the eagles? If you want to do a strenuous, isolated tour with some scrambling, you'll get your money's worth here. The route/accessibility reminded me of the Torrent de Parais on Mallorca.

There are indeed goats here, but in the summer heat they like to curl up in a shade at the edge of their enclosure and are hardly to be seen.

This lovingly furnished place of worship is located somewhere in the middle of nowhere at the lower exit of the Aposelemi Gorge in a small house that at first glance almost looks like a toilet house. It is always amazing where such religious places can be found!

Halfway through the gorge you come to a large open valley, on the opposite side of which golden eagles breed. It's very interesting to watch them fly.
