The Lengenbach, a tributary of the Nagold River, is dammed to create the Stadtsee (City Lake). A footpath encircles the lake, measuring just 300 meters. The walk is worthwhile, as the path offers a variety of scenic views. An information panel on the lake's shore explains that the Stadtsee was originally a reservoir for powering the waterwheel of the former Lower Mill. It also served as a trout pond, providing sustenance for the local fish. It remains unclear whether the dam was commissioned by Hirsau Abbey or by the local lords of the castle. Since 2013, a sandstone statue has stood on the lake's shore. It depicts the legendary giant "Erkinger," who once ruled Liebenzell Castle. As of 2021, the mill site located between the Stadtsee and St. Blasius Church awaits development. In this context, the Lengenbach stream is to flow above ground again from the city lake to the Nagold river. Housing and public parking are planned for the area.

A great road in itself. A bike path runs alongside it. Unfortunately, the road runs straight ahead, while the bike path zigzags 90° to 90° every 500 meters, and some of the tight curves are also covered in slippery gravel. The result: slow down to walking pace every 500 meters. So it's no wonder cyclists swerve onto the road where they can let it go.

The town lake in Bad Liebenzell is located on the orographic left slope of the Nagold Valley, approximately 200 meters west of the Nagold River. The Lengenbach, a tributary of the Nagold River, is dammed in the town lake by a small dam. A footpath can be used to circumnavigate the town lake. The circular path is just about 300 meters long. Walking around the small lake is worthwhile, as new views continually open up along the way.

It's a nice climb, as the gradient is moderate and there's relatively little traffic. The downhill is also good, but you should be a bit more careful due to the numerous road defects, especially on the bends.

A nice, steady climb with a constant gradient of ~6% - that's how it should be! The surface is also ideal for the descent. However, you should be careful on the descent at the two (three, if you count the mill). The route is actually still wide enough for adequate overtaking distances, and it's generally quiet, but the occasional truck you encounter can sometimes make you feel dizzy. The few hundred meters of mandatory bike path on the left just before Schwarzenberg are equally insane. Apart from that, it's a great route. The last section between Schwarzenberg and Oberlengenhardt is steeper and has a poor surface. Caution is advised on the descent here!

The Chapel of St. Wendel, or St. Wendelin, is a Catholic chapel located on the hill between Neuhausen and Steinegg, next to state road 573. It is considered a landmark of the Biet region. The Chapel of St. Wendel was rebuilt in 1723 on the site of an older chapel dating from 1683. The construction costs at that time totaled 500 guilders, 40 kreuzers, and 3 hellers. The altar, erected in 1736, lost its paintings due to thefts in 1935 and again in the 1960s. After extensive restoration in 1939, the chapel was damaged by fighter-bomber and artillery fire at the end of World War II in April 1945.
