Sol Coco Cayo is a good aging hotel. The furniture looks a bit run down. Unfortunately, so are the sanitary facilities. But it's clean and if you don't expect too much, it's ok.

Through the heavily destroyed mangrove forests over the dam to Cayo Coco to the hotel. The roads are good, but tough with a strong headwind over the dam. At the beginning of the dam there is a pass control to secure the island. Unfortunately, Hurricane Irma had also decimated the island's beautiful red flamingos.

Moron is a city with a beautiful city center, park, train station and pedestrian zone. The hostel (Cuba Libre) was very good with nice hosts. We were taken by horse-drawn carriage to the Bar Restaurante El Angel, where you can eat well.
