For me it's more of a long-term goal. So it was a highlight to have come this far. There are two restaurants around the dam and the paths around it are paved and easy to drive on.

The Wiesensee has various hiking trails ready for the active, whether by bike, MTB or just hiking, there is something for everyone. Around the lake there are always small places to linger, really very elaborate! In the vicinity of the lake there are other super beautiful ponds that you can take with you on your tour, if you only hike around the lake you have a distance of 6.5 km in front of you.

The Wiesensee is an artificially created lake in the Westerwald that was dammed up in 1971 and offers many types of sporting activities. Hikes and bike tours around the lake can be made, the route is very easy to drive and there are many opportunities to rest on the almost 7 km.
